Today, April 14, 2025, marks a significant milestone for Shaik Rasheed as he makes his much-anticipated debut for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.​

At just 20 years old, Rasheed has already made a name for himself in the cricketing world. He was the vice-captain of India's victorious U-19 ODI World Cup team in 2022, showcasing his leadership and batting prowess. Since then, he has been a consistent performer for Andhra Pradesh in domestic cricket, amassing 1,204 runs in 19 first-class matches at an impressive average of 46.04.
